The gods then came to unanimous decision that humans were too disconnected from nature. They would remain in their original form during the day, however at night is when their beast would be let out.
It was quickly decided that the humans would change through a virus, but there was some debate as to how the virus would spread. Some thought it should be airborne, while others thought it should be sexually transmitted. Eventually a compromise was made that it would start sexually transmitted, but as more fell victim to the virus, it would become airborne on it's own.
Once the virus had infected someone, the first effect would be that their facial and body hair would fall off. After they transform into their werebeast form, they will be fully aware of everything that is done in that form. Once they return to their human form in the morning, they will find that they will have a deep disdain for clothes and an increased sexual drive, to the point it will be socially acceptable to have more than one mate. Their human bodies would increase in muscle after each transformation for the first three days and depending on how much strength their human form would have, their werebeast form would have double that. As their bodies grow, their resistance to the cold would as well.
When they eventually mate with someone, the child will remain human until their fifth birthday. That will be the day of their first transformation, which will also mark the start of puberty for this new generation. As to anyone would mate, they would feel connected no matter where they would go and dominant one would feel an overwhelming urge to protect them. It would also be possible for those of the same gender to produce a child who would be born in only three months.
The gods were then satisfied with the virus. Now the only question is who to bear the virus first?
