Now in the week Emily had spent as a female human after fleeing the town she had witnessed
dragons fighting amongst themselves and
a kind of saurian revival out in the nearby oceans.She'd also had access to the failing human communications systems describing a chaotic situation where the dragons had seemed to be battling the dwindling humans,each another and some new enemy.
So when she'd headed to Astors secret portable missile cache a week earlier she'd not been planning
on a suicide mission,or even a transformation
but as a calculated attack by the remaining humans in the Town on a disorganized
population of dragons who needed portable missiles to fend off attacks from
this new enemy.
She and the others had been captured by Astors forces,transformed into dragons and then
Astor himself had ordered the new dragons to be locked up
in the Detention Centre,which had proved to be
a old human prison .
So that Detention Centre was where Emily had first met the Political Prisoner Dragons
who had spoken out against Astor and been
detained by him.
So what Emily was strongly motivated by in that hotel room with her
transformed brother Aaron
was a realization if she didn't get herself and her brother
out away from Astors claws likely one or both of them
was going to be in that Detention Centre
pretty shortly.
