On the outskirts of the village, there was a farmer staring at his fields. his name was Charlie.
hE HAD BROWN HAIR, BLUE EYES, A moustache, and wore a red checkered plaid shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.
Right now, he was staring at the fields, scratching his head.
Recently, he'd had some... bizarre occurrences on his farm - any animal that had some water from the river, it often made them get bigger or smaller, or some animals had parts that became bigger or smaller.
He remembered one of his sheep that drank from the river last week, and had grown nearly as big as a tractor tyre.
He remembered when a pig drunk river water in the trough, it became the size of an apple.
and when a cow had drunk from the river the day before, it had gotten a plus-sized udder, and a miniaturized tail, and a big face.
ANd, yesterday, his horse, Hugh, had drunk from the river after his daily walk, and ended up with a longer face than usual.
Charlie wondered what it could be.
He remembered that one of his helpers had told him of the Fountain of Size, WHICH WAS KNOWN TO MAKE THINGS BIGGER OR SMALLER TO ANYONE/ANYTHING WHO CAME INTO CONTACT WITH IT'S WATER.
Charlie went down to the river edge, and stared at the water, scratching his head.
'Surely it wouldn't work on humans.' he mused.
he remembered what his mom had said to him when he was a little boy, 'You never know till you give it a go.'
He thought of trying a drink from the river, or, he could put his feet in the water. or, since he was feeling hot, he could go for a dip in the farm waterhole to cool off, and at the same time, find out about the water.
or could it affect from other things, like his bath.
Then again, it might be wise to get his helpers to help him out
