As Jeff got out of the stroller and opened the front door, he was greeted with a delicious aroma of food being prepared. Especially when it smelled like chicken noodle casserole was being made. “What’s all this food for?” Jeff asked. “We’re having dinner with the next-door neighbors tonight. In the meantime, why don’t you go watch TV with your dad?” his mom said as she continued to play with her toys.
As Jeff climbed up to the couch, he saw his toddler dad still watching the news on the regression crisis going on. On the TV, it showed a reporter that talked to some people who recently turned into toddlers. “Sir, can you tell us what you were doing before this all happened?” The reported asked the civilian. “Well, I was gonna go to the store and then everything was getting bigger. Then I couldn’t even reach the wheel.” The guy said to the reporter as he felt scared about what was going on.
“I can’t believe this. Everything’s going to be cancelled. I was gonna watch the game but now the whole world are just toddlers.” His dad pouted. “Honey, it’s gonna be okay. We might have to go through some cutbacks, but we’ll still be fine. At least there might be soccer and little basketball games coming up.” Jeff’s mom, Nicole, tried to comfort him. “I think the news is making you upset. Why not watch a relaxing show with Jeff?”
His mother then went to the living room before she grabbed the remote and turned the channel to an episode of a show where Pokemon were communicating with each other in their own world. His dad, Matthew, could care less. For a little while, he watched the colorful show before the kitchen robot was finished making dinner.
Jeff loved the show since he used to play the Pokemon games and watch the cartoon when he was younger. For a little while, they enjoyed the show until the timer alarm went off and the robots got the food right out of the oven. “Mmm… smells like dinner is ready.” Jeff said as he looked near the kitchen. By then, it was starting to get dark and his mother was getting the food ready for the dinner party. “Jeffy, get your sister ready before we go. Oh, and bring a stuffie if you want to.”
Jeff then went upstairs to his sister’s room before he got his favorite stuffed penguin. “What do you want? Can’t you see I’m busy?” Zoey said as she played with her dolls, and her diaper was already wet and squishy because she had a couple wettings. Although she didn’t notice as much since it felt comfortable to her. “Mommy says it’s time to go.” “For what? Mom didn’t say anything to me.” Zoey sassed back to her brother. “She says that we have to go to a dinner party with our next door neighbors.” Jeff explained.
“Ugh, isn’t that where that bratty little girl lives. Along with her parents that ignore her when she’s acting out or having a tantrum?” Zoey asked as she felt certain what was going on. “Yep.. that’s pretty much it. Although one of them called mom and said that she wanted us to come over. Especially after we babysat her while they were away for some Kenny G concert.” Jeff said as he was holding on his stuffed penguin.
“Well crap. Do we have to bring anything over?” Zoey asked. “Well, mom’s bringing in food that the robots made. Although she said that we could bring in our favorite stuffies if we wanted.” Jeff explained. “Alright, I’ll bring my Panda plush. Along with my blankie.” Zoey said as she grabbed her panda plush and blanket from her crib. Both her and Jeff then toddled downstairs as the robots were bringing the food over to the neighbors’ house.
His mother Nicole was struggling to get her husband to wear a shirt, as he was only wearing a diaper. “No, I don’t want to wear one. Why do I have to do so?” Matthew said as he refused. “Because we should at least look presentable. I mean we don’t need to wear pants and it shouldn’t be as difficult.” Nicole said as Matt stuck out his tongue before he went out of the house and ran around the front yard.
“Matty, come back here.” Nicole crossed her arms as she demanded her toddler husband to put on his shirt. “No, I’m gonna go to the neighbors like this and you can’t do a thing about it.” He taunted to his wife. “Ugh. Sometimes you are such a pain. Well, I guess it won’t be a big deal since we’re already wearing diapers.” Nicole sighed as he looked at one of the robots. “Vectro, change anybody’s diaper in the house if they had an accident before we go.” Nicole commanded as it checked everyone in the family’s diaper before noticing Zoey’s diaper was soaking wet.
“Zoey, it’s time for you to get a diapee change.” The robot said in a soft voice, which made Zoey blush a little because she wasn’t used to being coddled in such a belittling manner. Although since she had no choice, she had the robot come with her to her room so she could get changed. The robot then removed her used diaper and put in the pail before reaching a diaper from below the changing table. Vectro then applied some baby powder on Zoey before putting on her diaper. After that, they both went downstairs as the family then went out of the house before an automated system closed the front door.
