"Who am I kidding, now that I got caught I'm going nowhere." Hopefully, she figured at best she be spending the rest of her life behind bars with 2 or 3 guaranteed meals a day, but at worst...well there really wouldn't be a rest of her life to look forward to.
Unnoticed in her self pity, the shop-keep had heard Tia's words of resignation and grew angry at the smaller drake before speaking up in her own, snarling voice.
"Oh please, spare me from your tales of woes and get off whatever high horse you're on. You think I'm just gonna sit here and listen to you while that bastard of king decides what day my execution will draw the biggest crowd? Fuck that, I'm getting out of here, and finally getting out of this kingdom liked planned to." Looking to the shop-keep in surprise, Tia was shocked to see the woman remove a ring from her finger and begin morphing before Tia's very eyes. Growing to nearly 7 feet in height, clothes straining as muscle began to visibly appear on her frame, fur popping up like wild grass and covering her completely, and finally her body gain wolf like features as a wolf-like tail grew from her rear with ears popping out from above her scalp while her face morphed to a more animalistic visage.
By the end, she had become a wolf-ish amazon who dwarfed Tia's already lackluster frame.
"After that, I don't plan on ever coming back." And without another word, the still unnamed shop-keep's approaching the metal bars of their cell before beginning to pound the metal in an audible manner. Sound echoing down the stone chamber, voices could already be heard but were mostly drowned out by the much louder banging. Before long, the voices would reveal themselves to be two guards and without warning the large wolf had grasped their collars before pulling them into the bars with a heavy clang before going limp.
"Idiots. Didn't even think someone could actually fight after throwing them in a magic dampening cell. Too bad for them, hellhounds are made of sterner stuff." Taking the keys from the guard's belt and unlocking the cell door, she would step out and immediately react to her freedom by creating balls of fire in her palms.
"Been a while since I last used my magic, but I should be good enough to get past these guards." Before making off to do so, she would regard the shocked Tia.
"You can either leave with me, or stick around and spend the rest of your life in a cell." Obviously, the small dragon would take the former option. Barely stumbling in doing so as she pushed off her seat to follow after, she found herself once again in the dungeon halls but now running past the dank and damp empty cells. As she did so, she’d notice the the large canine of a woman seemed determined in the direction she desired yet at the same time she also seemed unsure as they both had finally left the dungeons of the castle and now found themselves in a large hold area of some sort where a number of crates holding items of all sort. Without hesitation, the wolf would ounce on one of the boxes and rip the top from its frame and reveal the insides.
“I can’t believe it. These idiots kept magic items near the cells where they held their prisoners? If I knew how these worked I’d take everything I could but this is just too much and too dangerous to carry.” As the hellhound of a shopkeeper spoke to herself, Tia would notice one of the boxes already opened and sticking out of it was a staff of some sort. As if drawn to it, Tia would take it just in time for more guards to walk in and be shocked at what they found as their supposed prisoners were ransacking the contraband they were tasked with guarding. Before any guard could so much as twitch a finger though, the larger hellhound would launch a large fireball knocking them all prone before racing past them, something Tia gladly followed behind as she continued leading the way.
