Arriving at the school building, Jason ended up eating his words. Looking at the creatures arriving, he could tell the curse spread further than just his family. He saw elephants, hippos, zebras, and horses all walk into this building he once called a high school. Even the school building looked like it had gone through a change, looking more like a parking garage with trees sprouting out of it. Every student he walked by was a furry, and each one had a very minimal amount of clothing, from some wearing just pants or shorts to some only covering their chest. Elizabeth took off without him and left him on his own to explore, while Jason had to just let his mind fill in the gaps.
Just as he was about to go wandering around the school, a hand grabbed his shoulder and took him off guard. Jason turned around to see a kangaroo bounce away, “You usually don’t scare that easy bro, what’s up? Caught ya mid-thought?” It’s funny, the kangaroo looked like the spitting image of his best friend Todd, who he knew had a crush on his sister and teased him about it when he was being obvious. Only now instead of being a 5’9” white dude with brown hair, he was now a 6’8” kangaroo with yellow-blonde hair that wore Todd’s signature hoodie and backwards cap. The more Jason looked at Todd, the more he started to admire his new look, the longer paws, the musculature, his package… and he broke out of his stare. “Sorry bro, force of habit. I seem to be really out of it today. Maybe I woke up wrong today, but can you give me a rundown of how today usually works?” Todd turned his head confused. “Yeah, sure. So this is the school for teen animals, AKA the Zoo. The teachers all try to teach the kids how to function in the real world and control their animalistic urges. At least, that’s what they tell the parents. In reality, they want us to break up and pair off and make hybrid babies so that they can run tests to create a new species of life, growing the animal population and maybe reviving extinct creatures. To graduate, you need to find a mate that makes you absolutely wild, it can’t be your same species and they can’t be related to you. We’re first years, so we don’t usually know much about our teenage horniness. But that changes now.” He seemed really excited about that last part. Jason’s head started swimming with that explanation. Mating? Hybrids? Experiments? What kind of world did the curse bring him into? He had to take it in stride as Todd finished the explanation, “Got all that bro?” Jason weakly nodded his head as he kept pace with his hyper friend.
