Rick woke up the next morning to find his bed empty, no Darcy in sight. Exhausted, he got out of bed and stripped. He examined himself in the mirror.
We was probably the old equivalent of 45 years old now. Older than his mother's real age. Bald on top with flecks of grey at his temples and in his beard. Love handles.
"Just great," he muttered, still not noticing the purple shine of the ring. He decided to check the cam site since Darcy wasn't in the room. All of the women under the 18-19 section were middle aged, some also with streaks of grey hair. Sasha wasn't online but her last screencap showed a curvy mom-figure with hanging breasts and stretch marks with deep laugh lines.
Rick headed downstairs to the kitchen. This time the back of a young girl, roughly 12, with long curly hair and glasses, was at the table. He assumed, rightly, this was Olivia. Renee, his mother was sitting at the table too, her shoulder length curls nearly white, and deep wrinkles in her face. She must be at least early 70s now, Rick assumed.
Then Rick noticed both his daughter and mother were crying softly.
"Everything OK?" Rick asked hesitantly. Had they discovered how fast time was moving?
"Daddy, I'm just upset about losing Mommy is all," Olivia sniffed.
"Losing?" Rick was confused. "What .... do you mean?"
"Rick... you know she's dead..." Renee said.
"DEAD?!?" Rick exclaimed in alarm. "How is she DEAD?"
"Honey, are you ok? You know what happened," Renee sobbed. "Her cancer was just too aggressive..."
Rick tuned out at this point. And there it was. He remembered Darcy saying something about a pain last night but.... he never imagined. At the rate time was passing, an hour or two without a life-saving treatment or diagnosis was YEARS.
The door opened and Melanie and Lily entered. They now both appeared to be in their early 30s. Melanie was still about 5'5, petite with B-cup breasts, her straight reddish hair down, wearing a white camisole and black pants. Lily had bangs, her black wavy hair down as well, wearing a sleeveless black top over her C-Cup breasts and white pants that accentuated her curvy ass. It was hard to believe 48 hours ago these women looked like kindergarteners.
"We just came by to see if you guys need anything," Melanie said, very maturely. "Darcy was a great friend to me before you got married. And 5 is just too damn young to go."
"It sure is," Rick gulped.
