They remained asleep for hours. Even when their father returned home, they didn´t wake up. Their father, upon finding a sleeping wolf in their living room, called help over the phone, and soon some veterinarian from the zoo arrived with the police, and shot the still sleeping wolf with a narcotic dart, to render the wolf unconsciousness for some more time.
While the wolf was taken to the veterinarian´s office by the zoo. After a quick check up, the wolf was labeled as healthy, and soon was left in a single box, not yet to meet the other wolves on grounds of quarantine protection.
At their home, their father and the police found no clue about his missing sons. They found their clothes, left behind on the couch, but nothing else. As if both boys had left naked. “Maybe they changed into something else before leaving the house, and forgot to put these clothes away.” One of the officers said, and their search went outside. But they never found any clue where the boys ended.
When Luke and Kevin woke up from the narcotic solution, both were rather confused. What had happened. It took a bit for them to remember they had merged inside the wolf-suit, then turned it real and lost their speech before everything went blank.
Looking around, they quickly realized they weren´t at home any longer, but trapped in a big cage. They growled and howled to each other, holding a conversation between themselves. Anyone watching would be confused by this wolf´s behavior.
“Someone trapped me, Ass. How could that happen?” Luke asked his brother.
“Only father had a key. Oh no, do you think he came home, believed you a real wolf, and called the police on you?” Kevin replied in a fearful tone.
“He had no way knowing I´m not a real wolf, beside finding the remote, or being informed by uncle John. I would say I´m lucky they didn´t kill me.” Luke said, sounding sad. Their own father had sent them away, not knowing he did this to his own sons.
“He will be searching for you, but never find you. Trapped in a cage.” Kevin was crying mentally. That wasn´t what they had wanted. Now they were trapped as a merged wolf, unable to communicate with any human, but needed to work together to function. At the same time, their father would fear what had happened to them, never finding any clues beside the empty presents.
“Maybe father will figure this out, if he finds the remote, or the sheet explaining it. Maybe he will call uncle John, and then they would realize what happened to me.” Luke said, trying to cheer up his brother again, even as he himself was quite hopeless already. That were a many maybe´s for any real hope.
“Ass will be trapped as your ass for how knows how long, Luke. Maybe forever.” Now, while still crying mentally, Kevin was also getting a bit hysterical.
Luke wasn´t sure how to cheer his brother anymore. “I will try my best to keep ass save from others and not do anything to harm ass myself, I swear.”
Kevin was a bit more logical, even in his ever getting more depressed and hysterical situation. “You will need to do your business, Luke. You can´t spare ass from being used for to long, you know that.”
Realizing his brother was right, Luke let out a long, anguished howl in despair. Kevin was right, he couldn´t stop their bodies normal functions. Kevin would get the shit end of their body, no pun intended.
