It wasn't too long till Richard Reed was getting tired. He soon found a bench, so he could stop for a rest.
As he sat down on the bench, he saw his tracksuit was now as baggy as an oversized coat. And when he looked down at his hands, all he could see were sleeves.
"Oh God." Richard Reed muttered. "I'm not half the man I used to be."
He saw the trees looming high over the bench he was sitting on. To his shock, he saw that the trees now loomed even higher than usual, about as high as the skyscrapers in the city.
"Whoa." Richard Reed said. "I never knew the trees could grow so fast."
He felt his socks sagging and his feet knocking about in his white sneakers. He lifted his feet up outta his sneakers, and saw his socks had now slunk off of his feet, leaving them bare.
Richard Reed stared at his feet, jaw hanging, as his toes wriggled and flexed like worms.
His feet used to be size 9, but now they seemed more like size 5.
Of course, he didn't know that the water from the small bowl from the Fountain of Size was now making him shrink.
Now, he had shrunk to half his size.
