Shelly watched with care looking to see which of the options before her would be the best, she had always been a bold mermaid ever since she was a little kid. She knew that while it gave the greatest risk, it also granted the greatest reward. She moved toward the 3rd house, the one at the end of the line of beach houses and was by far the largest and was currently occupied by at least 10 humans in their early twenties. It was a mixture of males and females and judging by their numbers most of them where couples and that added to the lure of transforming them.
There were two groups of them, one group of three males where on a small boat off shore with fishing lines in the water. Shelly watched as one of them drank from a glass bottle, a beer bottle she assumed. They would be easy to transform but hard to transform without being noticed by the second group. The 2nd group, mostly made up of women where sunbathing on the beach or on the patio which sat next to the house on the edge of the water but one man was working on the grill while another one was talking with one of the girls. They would be easy to transform as well but hard to do so without being noticed.
She wished she had more information, where their other humans in the house? Was one or more of them a threat, all of them where fit and some of them looked like they could fight back, she was a single mermaid she needed them to be transformed and accept the sea. Her mother and father, both of whom where once humans said once they transformed they accepted the sea fast but still.
She was about to change her mind and go transform the much easier elderly couple when she noticed a single pair of humans moving away from the house and down the beach to a more private area.
One was a young woman in her early twenties, with short red hair and a good body on her, modest size but good for her frame breasts, a nice ass and good legs. She was a little taller then normal for a human but that was all. Beside her a man about of age with her walked. He had short blonde hair, a tone but not over the top frame and a bright smile.
They walked hand in hand away from the house, laughing as the other humans gave them a knowing smile but let them go.
Shelly followed them getting closer to the shoreline but remaining out of sight. The women, was wearing a red bikini with white highlights around the edges while the guy was wearing an pair of black swim trunks. They moved around a bend in the beach and out of sight of the houses, this was perfect.
Taking her time, Shelly pulled one of the transformation darts, it was made out of seashell and looked mostly natural. The transformation agent in the tip, would begin the process of transforming the humans into either mermaids or merman. She took aim and fired, the dart flew true hitting the bottom women in the foot as she lifted it up to take another step causing her to yip in pain as she pulled the dart from her foot and looking at it for a moment tossed it aside assuming she had stepped on a shell. A couple of moments later, Shelly repeated the process with the man, hitting him in the same spot and like before he assumed he had just stepped on a shell and tossed it aside.
The transformation agent didn’t work at once, but it was fast acting, but the couple had only gone a few more steps until they decided to lie down on their stomachs and work on getting a tan on their backs. Both of them where side by side and it was clear that one of the reasons why they had gotten away from the others was that they where likely to start having sex but they wanted to spend some time talking.
They didn’t know that the transformation agent was already at work and soon their legs would become tails, they would gain gills, their bodies would transform into more sexualized versions of themselves, merfolks where seen as hyper sexual in human culture for no reason and there was a chance that they would change genders.
For now Shelly moved closer ready to help the new merpeople when they transformed and to ask them questions for when she transformed the others in their group, she could already see the scales forming on the bottom of their feet it wouldn’t be long.
