The 6th Prince of the Alessei Kingdom had often been called a 'Fairy Tale Prince',
'Prince Charming' or the 'Most handsome Man in Alessei', but the truth was that he was little more than a Wastrel.
Airdan had been an embarrassment for his Father for decades, who had finally had enough of his antics.
The Kingdom had been in financial troubles for a few years and the King had been racking his mind, trying to come up with solutions,
when he heard that Queen Beth of the nearby elven Kingdom, wich had become incredibly wealthy, was still single.
He'd been considering whether he should try to marry off his second or third Son,
when he found out that it was possible to take Concubines in their Kingdom.
The King's choice had been easy. Instead of sending his competent second or third Son in hopes of having him become King,
sending the sixth, who had no redeeming qualities except for his looks, to become a male Concubine for Queen Beth,
seemed like a far better choice.
Prince Airdan had been less than thrilled when he first heard that he was being sold off, though his apprehension quickly faded,
when he heard that the Kingdom he was going to was the richest on the entire Continent.
And he had become eager to go when he found out that he could still have other relationships as long as the Queen permitted it.
Airdan had been imagining a life of luxury and excess, only to be greeted by nothing but verdant green Plains,
dotted with the occasional Farm.
The only things that the Prince would call a Building had been the Towers he'd seen, but they were few and far between.
Had he been more knowledgeable, then he would have recognized them as Mage Towers,
but the Prince simply saw the as 'strange and useless'. He decided that he would have them torn down the moment he gained power.
The Prince had yet to realize that he would gain no real power in this Kingdom by becoming Beth's Concubine.
He was bored and impatient, when he was told that they would be arriving soon.
Prince Airdan leaned out of the Window and looked at what he tought was a Castle,
until they got close enough for him to recognize it as nothing more than an exceptionally lage Barn, designed to look like one.
'They can't possibly be serious. Perhaps this is where the Queen keeps her Horses?' The Prince thought hopefully.
He was brought inside and led through the winding corridors, soon standing face to face with Beth.
