The kingdom had become exceedingly rich, through the sale of magically preserved dairy products,
wich could be delivered and sold throughout the entire continent and the almost constant need for magic,
quiet enviroment and promise of both stable and high income lead to many mages to take up permanent residence in the kingdom.
The farmers invested much of their considerable income, to keep the citizens-turned-cows happy and willing to stay at their farms.
Due to the fact that the citizens fully retained their minds, staying at a farm was considered voluntary,
wich made the farmers pay more attention to the happiness of their cows and improved the quality of their milk,
wich in turn increased the income of the farmers, making them more than willing to invest money into keeping their cows statisfied.
All this was much to queen Beth's chagrin.
By the time she returned to her throne, everyone was already more than pleased with the status quo and her capital was replaced by pastures. She was no longer the 'evil queen', but a beloved ruler that led her kingdom into a new age of wealth an prosperity.
If she turned back now then the people may start to doubt her and it would certainly lead to people wanting to turn back,
wich would be a problem, now that the economy of her kingdom relied on her people wanting to stay as cattle.
She could only begrudgingly settle for building a lavish barn where her castle once stood.
Instead of courtiers and dignitaries, the people she spoke to now about the management of her kingdom were farmers and mages,
with the topics having changed from public order and diplomacy to new products and business deals with other countries.
