Electricity shoot through Shedra's body, her eyes lost focus and her vision became blurry, as her body spasmed wildly.
The cat took his paw off of the button again, but noticed that the electricity didn't stop.
He looked down and noticed that the button had gotten stuck. "Dammit!" He ran off to grab a nearby screwdriver.
Shedra felt like her brain was turning into soup. Her eyes crossed and blood was spurting out of her nose.
The cat finally reached the screwdriver and jammed it beween the button and the frame. "I have to be quick, if i take too long then..."
It took him a short while before he managed to loosen the button, turning off the electricity.
He immediately ran over to Shedra, taking off the restraints and lightly patting the side of her head.
"Come on, talk to me." The cat looked at her with obvious concern.
Shedra's eyes slowly fluttered open. "How do you feel?" The old cat asked gently.
She looked at him with a confused expression on her face. The cat could tell that she seemed to be thinking about something and that,
whatever it was, distracted her so much that she didn't realize that she was drooling.
It took her almost a minute before she managed to utter the question that was on her mind. "Who... you?"
The cat looked at her with a sad expression. "I'm so sorry, i never meant for things to go this way. Let's get you off of there first."
He carefully guided her to stand up, wich she did with considerable effort.
She hadn't been standing for long, when she collapsed onto the floor. The cat immediately ran to her side.
"Are you alright?" He checked her body for bruises, sighing with relief when he didn't find any. "Maybe it's too soon for you to walk."
He gently stroked her side. "How about you try walking on all fours? Here, let me help you."
Shedra carefully propped herself up on her hands and knees with the help of the cat, before unsteadily crawling forward.
She couldn't understand why everything was so difficult for her, she could clearly remember that something like this should be easy.
Her frustration and confusion slowly got to her, making her eyes grow wet with tears.
She felt like she was about to break down in tears, when she suddenly felt something soft press against her.
"Don't worry, you're not alone. I'll be here for you for as long as you need me."
Shedra could barely understand the small cat, but felt comforted by his words.
She leaned into his embrace, slowly calming down.
