"Hmmm. It has strong Mana, so maybe I could try this one?" He pulled out a Piece of Paper from the bottom of the Pile,
thought for a moment while stroking his Beard, shrugged and got to work. "It's worth a try."
He walked into the Room with Beth in it about twenty Minutes later and started setting up Pylons around her,
pulled out a small Gem and started speaking an Incantation while looking at her.
Beth felt like cold Wind was blowing over her and had a faint feeling that something important had left her Body.
But the Spell kept her too pacified to really care about it after the feeling disappeared.
The old Wizard took down the Pylons and left the Room with a giddy Expression.
He hastily put everything away and took the Gem to a magical Desk Lamp, inserting it into a small Indentation.
The Lamp lit up and a wide Smile appeared on the Wizard's Face. "It looks like this small Piece of that Cow's Soul could power this Lamp indefinitely! And it's Soul should be powerful enough to fill hundreds or even thousands of these Gems without killing it!"
The Wizard immediately got to work making more Gems, essentially having discovered an infinite Source of Energy for the Kingdom.
And all of it at the cost of a single Cow!
