The Game of Change has a mind of its own, and enjoys changing and iterating on its rules and mechanics. The outcome of transforming its players is a prevailing constant, but its methods of doing so are ever flexible.
This time, play of the game looks like this. Players pick which color of pawn they would like to represent them on the board, whereupon the pawn will change shape to resemble the player. Turn order is decided by rolling a 12 sided die, with the higher rollers going first. On your turn, roll the die and move that many spaces on the board. When you land on your space, draw a card and read it aloud.
There are four kinds of cards: Action, Dare, Modify, or Transformer. Action cards will ask you to do things like advance or reverse your piece a given number of spaces, swap places with another player, or draw a given number of more cards. Dare cards will ask you to perform the task written on it. If you choose not to do the dare, you incur the wrath of the Chicken God Kolokolo who will place a random transformation on you and force your piece backwards five spaces. Modify cards affect the size of the game board, adding or subtracting a number of spaces from the board, or adding shortcuts.
Transformer cards are the most important cards in the game, as they are the cards that really work the game’s magic. Upon them is the transformation that will affect either you, the other players, or the whole table. This is determined by the color of space you landed on, of which there are four. Red spaces affect only the player who landed on it. Yellow spaces let the player choose one other person to take the transformation. Green spaces affect everyone except for the player who landed it. Blue spaces affect all players at the table. The transformations, it should be noted, are usually lewd or horny in one way or another, and players are recommended to write down whatever kinks they are and are not comfortable with before play.
Occasionally you will land on a purple space. These special spaces affect the world around the players until the game is finished. When you land on a purple space, draw a Transformer card and read it aloud. The game will transform the whole world until someone lands on the Winning Space. Once that happens, the player who landed on it gets to make whatever wish they desire, and the game is finished. Note that unless you wish to remove your transformations, they will be permanent unless you play the game again and reach the Winning Space.
