The doorbell rang. Ashton pulled out his phone, and grinned.
"Amazon just delivered the last bit of wiring I need for Uri-nell," Ash said dashing upstairs.
Matt and Calivin looked at each other in confusion.
Matt asked, "Wiring? Not plumbing?"
Calvin said, "Let's go see!"
Uriel moaned incoherently.
When they got upstairs from the basement, they saw Ash opening several Brown Amazon boxes.
"Wiring?" Calvin asked.
"Oh, it - er, he can't really exercise any more. So I'm going to use these TENS units to electronically stimulate his muscles. And IV bags to nourish and improve his body. Come back downstairs in 6 months and you'll see, " Ash said gleefully.
Matt and Calvin looked at each other and shrugged.
Over the next few months, they all used Uri-nell severall times a day. At first, they tried talking to Uriel, but he couldn't respond. So they began to just treat him like the plumbing fixture he was now.
A few times, Matt or Calvin would try the basement door, but Ash kept it locked. Only he went down there.
