"Where are the dice Anna?" Anna gulped at the voice that the 'adult' Laura made.
While not something she remembered, it reached down into her and realized she would be in deep trouble if she didn't tell Laura where those dice are.
Anna struggled to get herself under control and glared at Laura who frowned at the seven year old Anna. A few moments later Anna relented.
"Fine. Here they are." She reached into dress pocket and pulled out the two dice to give to Laura. Or rather tried to as she lost the grip on the dice and they tumbled to the ground.
“Twenty-two years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but twenty. Each roll of the dice returns more of what you have lost.” Laura looked just a bit fresher as the college graduate dropped back two grades. Anna would've noticed the slight differences if it wasn't for her unfortunate roll.
“Seven years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but one. Each roll of the die takes you closer to your mother's womb.”
Anna looked down in horror at the 'six' on her dice and the world got much bigger.
Laura looked down at Anna with a look of pity with a bit of amusement as Anna got the unfortunate roll. The asian first grader quickly became a pre-schooler and then a toddler. A few moments later, she was on the old size of 'infant' and let out a cry.
