The squad drove to the library first, figuring that they could read up on any local legends for any insight into what’s going on. They split up to search the town’s historical records and the sparse (according to Samantha) occult collection. Unfortunately, after what felt like an hour of searching (which involved sniffing the books as much as it did reading them), they’d hit a dead end. Jennifer, of course, was staring to get the feeling that she was forgetting something important. She just couldn’t put her finger on what. She voiced this concern to her group, prompting Samantha to perk up.
“Is that so?” Samantha grinned, flipping through the pages of a dusty tome titled “Magical Mental Maladies”.
“What’s so?” Kimberly asked aloud, prompting the librarian to shush her. Of course, when a librarian shushes you, it’s most certainly a command, so the girls all started whispering for the time being.
“It means that Jennifer must have a memory dampening curse of some kind,” Samantha answered, before realizing what she’d just done, “Crap, I said someone’s name.”
“Y-yup,” Jennifer gasped, crossing her legs and unbundling her nipples to jerk them off.
“Well don’t do that in public right now,” Susan scolded, prompting Jennifer to stop her actions for the time being. Of course, the ever present need to do it remained.
“I’m gonna try reading the ‘catch-all memory dampener counter-curse’ real quick,” Samantha said. She focused her attention on Jennifer and read the incantation.

At school meanwhile, Kyle Perkins and his nerdy friend group were snickering to themselves. Kyle told them everything and was developing a scheme with them. How it went was simple: If they saw one of the cheerleaders, give them an embarrassing command of some kind. Anything was basically on the table! He also told them to spread the word to anyone else willing to mess with the cheer squad for a while. When those girls finally showed up, it was going to be so, so very sweet.

“I.. th-think it’s wor… working,” Jennifer said, trying to keep down her intense need to jerk her nipples, “I… I remember Kyle placing a curse on m-me that made me have a hive connection to all of you guys. He… he also s-said… ohhg… hurrrff… that any command I was given I would instantly do, and it would apply to all of you guys too.”
“Oh, so like if I told you to stand on your head, you’d do it?” Anne asked, “And so would the rest of us?”
“Y-yeah,” Jennifer confirmed, “He also said that if any of us were commanded to transform it would happen to all of us at once.”
“So theoretically,” Susan pondered, “we could fix this mess here and now?”
“I say we don’t do anything about it until we know conclusively what caused this,” Rachel suggested, to which all of the girls unanimously agreed, “Oh shoot, that was a command, wasn’t it?”
“Damn it,” Samantha groaned, “Well we at least know that Perkins is behind it. That’s a start.”
“Let’s just get to class,” Susan sighed, “Hopefully nothing crazy happens after this.”
