You jumped on your feet, a preteen again, and watched the insect-children-army charging at you.
"I will hold them off, you evolve!", you shouted at Josh, then whipped out your best weapons: A spray bottle with Repellent, and the BeastDex. "Come at me, you bug-babies!" You sprayed a little worm, jumping at you, and aimed the Dex at a ladybug-girl, attacking you from above. "I will scan you with that, I warn you!"
The BeastDex flashed his little scanner light, with no harming effect. The bug-girl nevertheless turned right around, screaming in fear. A gaggle of her friends followed her, afraid of the light and the mechanical voice, shouting facts about them.
"Laddyba, the ladybug-BeastMon. Communicates it´s feelings through scents and pheromones", the Dex informed you, as you sprayed the Repellent at another Beastie. "You heard that? You are all little stinkers! - Name all the weaknesses of Insect, Dex!"
"Volcano!", the machine exclaimed, "Sky! Mountain!"
All these words seemed to scare the Beasties immensely. Your Repellent created now a hazy mist around you and Josh. This whole situation was a lot easier to manage than you thought! Maybe - then a string of silk lassoed through the air, catching your spray bottle and flinging it away. You and your big mouth.
"Josh! Now!" You turned at him. Whose cocoon was now crackling. Then, arms broke through the shell! You yelled a "Yes!", before you realized how small these arms were. And legs, for that matter. A child came out?
On tiny legs stood Josh, still with the cocoon around his body, a boy´s head looking out of one of the holes. That was, before the growth spurt hit him. Suddenly, he got a lot taller, bursting his cocoon from the inside. Shards of the shell still stuck to him, but under it Josh wore pants and a shirt out of black silk, skintight. Veeery skintight, as you noticed. Did you just felt a pinch in your nether regions? You were straight, you were a boy in real life, you liked boobs.
But this guy had a package, too, you admitted by yourself. It made everything only more confusing.
Josh stretched his still elongating arms, with a fit bulge of muscles growing on them. Same for the legs, with swelling thighs. The shards of his former cocoon moved on itself, forming like clay and reshaping into yellow parts of armor. An armor made for an far eastern warrior, a ninja maybe? He got two short swords on his belt. A half mask covered parts of his face, his mouth and nose in particular, which was a shame, becau-... huh? You knew Josh´s face from his Weedla-form, but you remembered it not like ... that. Not with this piercing, but at the same time soft, hazel brown eyes, looking at you with melancholic ... uh ...
He moved, like a lightning bolt! He shot up to you, grabbing you like a damsel in distress and carrying you away from the insect-children. "Sorry, trainer, for I was such a burden to you", he spoke with his deep, manly voice. "Please except my heartfelt apology!"
"Uuuh ..." Your face got hot. You felt rockhard arm muscles moving, at your back, at your legs. "I - I forgive you, of course! But please let me down pronto!"
Insect-types use pheromones, said the BeastDex, right? Maybe this one did that too?
Over you, the Forest Queen shouted. "Change of commands, shoot them both!"
