An hour later, shortly before Mark wanted to head home, he had another idea for Aidan. He was sure it would look hilarious if it went like he planned it, and Aidan wouldnīt be any wiser afterwards.
Aidan returned from the toilet a minute later, not knowing that Mark had planned something new. He dropped back on the couch with a sigh. Even with his altered muscles his handstand-walking was tiring him more than usual. He couldnīt place what was wrong with him today, he never had such problems. That it all was just today because it was the first day, was something unable to cross his mind as he simply didnīt know the changes.
With Aidan back on the couch, Mark decided now was the right time for his new change to Aidan before heading home. Grinning, Mark got Aidanīs attention before saying: Aidan, you will grow a long, flexible tail from your forehead. It will be covered with hair the same black color as your hair, and you will be able to curl it around your head like itīs just your hair, not that you do that often.
Aidan raised his head to look shocked at Mark. It took him a bit to completely understand the meaning. All the while his new tail grew out of his forehead, jerking around a bit wildly. As it hung in front of Aidanīs eyes, a small coat of fur covered it up, black as his hair.
Mark, what are you doing to me? Iīm not some kind of animal. And why on my head? Are you trying to turn me around myself with that? Thatīs not funny, stop it. In his protest, his newly grown tail had wrapped around his head, easily hiding it. Just as he was about to protest more, it slipped his mind, leaving his tail as normal. It uncurled from his head, now freely swishing above his eyes.
Mark laughed at him. It was fascinating to see Aidanīs tail working, and interesting Aidan had guessed what it could mean, not that he said anything about that. Instead, he slowly stood up, still laughing. Calming a bit, he said: I think I need to head home now, Aidan. See you tomorrow. With that, Mark left Aidan alone with his new tail, laughing a good part of his way home about it.
Half an hour later Aidan made himself something to eat before watching a film on his laptop while relaxing on couch. He fell asleep while watching.
