Jackie was currently 42 years old having made herself that age when she came over, and was now sitting on Ann's couch holding her hand as Ann was still processing what her girlfriend had just told her.
"Vampires now? Vampires? Are you for real?" Ann asked sounding worried.
Jackie had just finished explaining to her that they were now going to be dealing with vampires, their alliance with Duke, and Gloria's new friend Caleb and his demon hunting family.
"Hey, it's no big deal, you know my friends and I have handled worse threats than this Angel, and we've come out okay in the end. Plus we have this half-human, half-vampire kid on our side and I'm pretty sure Sasha's into him." Jackie said reassuring her girlfriend.
Ann then started to cry next to her.
"Come on, don't be like this, you know I can't stand to see you like this. I'm here for you, no Vampires are going to hurt you." Jackie said hugging Ann as she suddenly pushed her away.
"Is that all you think about? Fighting magical creatures? Don't you ever think about what I want to do with my life?! I'm just as important as your magical battles that you and your friends seem to have every eight months!" Ann shouted at Jackie who looked shocked at how angry she was.
"I'm...I'm sorry. I know it's hard to deal with these kinds of things, but you know I'm always going to be here for you." Jackie said trying to calm her girlfriend down.
"I'm sorry, I really am...it's just....you know." Ann shrugged.
"I know, it's not easy dealing with magic and all this stuff, it still isn't for me." Jackie said.
"What? Oh no, that's not what I meant. I meant, it's just....that 'time of the month' for me." Ann said as Jackie suddenly realized what she meant.
"Oh....so right now you're going through a little bit of a mood swing because of it." Jackie guessed as Ann nodded her head.
"Sorry, we can maybe have date night another time, if you want?" Jackie suggested as Ann went up and kissed a deep long kiss on Jackie's lips as the two fell back down on the couch.
"We don't have to go out, we can just stay and inside and have a good time." Ann whispered into Jackie's ear.
"Are you sure, it's okay to do this now?" Jackie as Ann smirked and continued to touch her girlfriend's body in her sensitive spots.
"It's....GREAT, oh yeah. It's....TOTALLY....great..." Jackie said as the two made their way into Ann's bedroom.
