"Hey, I just thought about this, but now that you are a girl, are you a girl for real? I mean, is this like a curse or something? Or are you actually a genuine girl now?" Asks Brenda as you both walk out of the village. You never even thought to check that, so you quickly check your character information.
To your surprise, she is right, and you are not under a curse or anything. Your sex is now female, and with no asterisk or anything next to it. You check your equipment, specifically the Rainbow Sword of Hope, and its subtext.
"A mysterious artifact from an unknown power. Usage restricted to females only. Males will be transformed into their female version if they make contact with the artifact. Warning! Sex changing effect is permanent as long as the artifact remains in the user's possession. This artifact binds on pick-up."
"Well shit. Guess I am staying as a girl for this playthrough. The sword I found was actually an artifact that forces the wielder to be female. And it binds to them on pick-up, so I can't even get rid of it. And it isn't a curse. It actually changes my sex to female." You then notice one additional change and groan. "Damn it, even my name has been changed. I am now named Luna Collins."
Brenda pats your back, which makes you stumble forwards. "Ah don't stress over it. Luna is a cute name. Plus this is just a game, right? I am sure once we get out of this, everything should be fine." You grin at her unshakable optimism. "Yeah your right. So what if I am now Luna. This is an RPG, so I am just playing a role. And it isn't like I hate being female either. Sure it isn't my normal body, but I have gotten comfortable with it already, so it isn't too bad. Plus like you said, I am still me, more or less."
"Exactly. Just be careful about coming off as being flirty though. You may not even realize it, but even just a smile at the right time can give people the wrong impression about your intentions. You also are cute and in a bikini, so a lot of people likely will try and hit on you. So just be careful about being overly friendly with strangers" advises Brenda. You have done it before, but now again you are thankful she was the one you ran into first. If it had been one of your male friends... you doubt that they would have not tried to fuck you or at least feel you up by now. Although, maybe you could give them a feel just once...
You freeze in place as you reflect on what you just thought. Why did you feel that way just now? Why did you kind of want to be felt up by your friends just now? You are not into men like that, right? You are a guy on the inside still, right? Even though you think all of this, a part of you knows the answer isn't what you want it to be. A very small part of you has realized that you are not entirely opposed to seeing men like that now. And that your manner of thinking must slowly be adapting to your new body.
"Luna!" Shouts Brenda.
"Huh? What?" you say, returning back to reality.
"There you are. You zoned out on me for a few minutes now. Everything ok? I tried calling your name a few times now, but you were not answering. Actually, you did answer right away when I called you Luna though now that I think of it."
"I... sorry, I was just thinking about things. I'm good now. No need to worry." You say, choosing not to speak about your concerns right now.
"Okay... if you say so. Anyways, we need to move now, so which direction are we going to go now? Or maybe we can ask the village if they can point us in the right direction to another town or something. Any preference? We still are missing 3 of our party as well. So looking for them should also be a priority."
