As your chauffeur drove into town, you found yourself staring out the window, trying to figure out just what was so special about this place. At first, you didn't see anything unusual - just plenty of shops, businesses and restaurants, with pedestrians and families going about their days like they would in any other city. That's when it hit you - there were no men in sight, anywhere. The more you looked, the more it became obvious that everywhere you turned, you only saw women of all appearances and styles. Even the children all seemed to be girls, though with the very youngest it was, of course, hard to tell. Here and there you saw women making out with each other on benches or in parks, or just kissing each other goodbye on the sidewalk, and you found yourself flushing.
Sitting back in your seat, you steeled yourself for a moment before addressing your chauffeur. "So, ah, er," you managed to get out before you heard her giggling at you.
"You're wondering why there aren't any men around here?" she asked. "Well, the story is that the city of New Lesbos was founded centuries ago by a witch who wanted to escape persecution, and she put up a spell around the whole place that was supposed to make it a haven for women like her - women who loved women. Well, I don't know if I believe that, but I do know one thing - any man who moves here ends up transforming into his inner woman before too long, and of course *she* will end up only liking the ladies. And a woman who moves here... let's just say if she didn't like women before, she'll have her horizons broadened a bit, if you know what I mean." She laughed again. "I moved here a few months ago and I thought I was straight before that, but... I pretty quickly developed a new appreciation for the female form." Now she sighed dreamily.
You were overwhelmed by all this information and sat back in the chair. "Is there any way to avoid this from happening?" you asked. "Nothing against women, but I like being a man!"
"The transformation takes longer for some people than others," your chauffeur said. "I guess it depends on how hard you've been repressing your feminine side. But it gets everyone in the end - I've not heard of anyone holding out for more than a week or so. Of course, you could always back out, it's not too late - but that'd mean losing your sweet new job. Besides, it's not that bad. Give it a try. You may surprise yourself. And, aha! Here we are!"
You hadn't noticed as you'd been talking, but you'd pulled off into a nice neighborhood and had now parked in the driveway of a large, fancy house. Your chauffeur stopped the car and hopped out to open your door. "Come on!" she said. "It's time to meet your new housemates! They're going to just *love* you!"
