"Well, maybe I can help." I said
"What do you mean?" Jessie asked, "How?"
I quickly thought up a way to explain it to her, "My...Uncle, he's a...uh... a doctor, a very famous doctor. I bet he can help, he can cure any disease." That sounded...kind of believable.
"Really?" She perked up, excited by this.
"Yup." I lied. Quickly I murmured under my breath, "I wish I had an uncle that could cure Jessie's brother." Now I wasn't lying anymore, suddenly my head was filled with memories of someone named Uncle Thomas, he was a famous doctor. I wrote down his phone number, which I knew...apparently.
