"Hello everyone, and welcome to the latest episode of Animalia Ambassadoria." said Miles, starting the episode off. "Today we're going to be looking at some new stuff that has happened in Animalia, some plans for future colonies, as well as a look at the upcoming event in Animalia as a whole, Spookyville."
---
"What's probably the biggest, in terms of new members, is Project Hermaphroditus." said Miles, getting the information together. "While most of the conversions going on now are still "classified", what's probably generating the most news is the successful discovery of a deep-sea lizardfish for the project, so we'll probably be meeting a new herm fish for Spookyville."

"We're now live with Olympe, one of Madame Renard-Argenté's girls on the French Animalia Colony that's in the final stages of development, which will probably be opened up by Christmas at the earliest." said Miles, opening the Skype channel. Everyone was surprised at seeing Olympe, mainly because she was wearing the four gold medals she had won at the IAC for the Track and Field events she had been participating in at the time. While most of the questions were pretty normal for interviews there were a few that had some surprising answers.
"So how is the Chateau doing now that Juliet and Juan are dating?" asked Miles, citing one thing that everyone was curious about.
"It's doing fine." said Olympe, matter-of-factly, "Juan is turning out to be a fine teacher. However, we're getting some new members that are helping drive the notoriety of the upcoming colony up."
"How so?" asked Miles.
"One of the new converts, whom we will refer to as her penname, 'Miss Mallow', is actually an author of quite a few erotic fantasy adventure novels in France." answered Olympe. As expected, trolls and "karens" flared up in the comments, but these were generally ignored, thereby dousing their flames enough for Olympe to continue, "She's now a red fox, and is planning to open up a bookstore in the colony."
"Another has become our concierge, and is now a Fawn Somali cat." Olympe continued, "She's very meticulous about things like hygiene and cleanliness, partly due to her dust allergy (which has been toned down since her conversion), as well as the placement of furniture (she's a little obsessed with making sure that the furniture not only matches the carpets, but are also well chosen and egregiously placed)." (Stewie: Say WHAAAT?!?!)
"And finally, one of the maidservants that Miss Juliet like to employ due to unusual... circumstances rendering it hard for them to get employed otherwise has undergone conversion." said Olympe, finishing up the interview, and piquing the curiosity of a number of people.
"How is she 'unusual'?" asked Miles, not the least of the interested ones.
"Well," answered Olympe, "Violet used a, supposed, DIY cure for her eczema (which was pretty bad for her). While it did permanently cure her eczema, it unfortunately turned her skin and hair purple." At that there was a lot of expressions of surprise, and not just merely emojis. "She decided to become a raccoon Animalian, but it only caused her new fur to come in purple. Fortunately, she's still the same jolly, empathetic lady-in-waiting she always has been while working for Miss Juliet." (The Big Lebowski: That's marvelous.) "Though now she has a dream of meeting a unicorn Animalian, even though such a thing, realistically, isn't possible."

"While Heracles is more focused on getting ready for playing his namesake in the Night Parade of 100 Demons, both he and Megara were able to get a better look at the Island that will be the centerpiece for the planned Greco-Roman colony." said Miles, queueing up the video. In it, Heracles and Megara were being shown around the island by a Greco-Roman historian from Italy, and it was also clear that it would function as a self-sufficient colony, with plenty of farmland to allow a large town/small city to thrive there.

"While Spookyville will have its largest focus on both Lyre/Animalia and Dino City, with its Raptor Hunt, this year Vilcabamba will be joining in after a new discovery was published this summer." said Miles, bringing the announcement up.
During her investigation of "El Jichi", Professor Nova discovered a limestone cavern not far from the archeological site Vilcabamba had been named for. After finding a few examples of Mayan pottery in the entrance cave, one of which had a sinister-looking monkey figure, she reported it to the authorities. After a thorough investigation, it was found that, compared to some cavern complexes, it was relatively small. However, when the number of distinct levels was found to be nine, as well as a human skull embedded in the floor of the fifth level, it was clear that this cave had become associated, at least with the Mayans, with the nine levels of the Underworld. Part of the association with the Mayan underworld was the way that air moving through the rock formations in the cavern complex made it sound like whispering voices, much to the surprise and fear of a few people.

"Well that's it for this episode," said Miles, wrapping up the episode, "Stay tuned for our official Spookyville coverage, but until then, see ya."
