Ken immediately started to rub out her personality, ready to write in the new details.
Veronica had always loved clowns, ever since she was eight and their parents took her and Ken to the circus. A few years later she attended the first of various classes and seminars; learning how to juggle, tie up balloon animals, various clown routines, and experimenting to develop her clown persona Jollibee.
Jollibee's first public appearance at a church talent show led to more. At first she did it only as a favor but within a year she was getting paid to perform at birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvah, charity and corporate events. Veronica had even joined the local clown alley and had plans to perform in the circus one day.

On her walls along with her posters of male models and pop stars were two of celebrity clowns Lou Jacobs and Emmett Kelly.

Veronica was sitting down at her vanity and looking into her mirror. She had scrubbed her face clean and was about to apply her clown face; tonight Jollibee and several of her colleagues were performing for the opening of a new children's wing at the local hospital....
