“Why don’t we all get in on the picture?” Gavin suggested. “Group photos are way more cool anyway.” Justin raised an eyebrow, but then, realizing what his friend was going for—in order for them all to fit in the photo they’d have to squeeze together pretty tightly. “Yeah, let’s do it.” He suggested. The girls shared a look, then seemed to shrug. “Sure, why not?” Rebecca said. The group huddled together as Gavin carefully aimed the camera.....

Gabrielle wished this night would just end already. She’d been on her feet for hours now and these heels were killing her. Still, she had to admit working at this club was paying pretty well. Turning to the customers sitting at the table in front of her, she asked “what would you three like to drink tonight?”
The guy at the table was wearing a polo shirt and khakis, as well as a big, expensive watch and a gaudy necklace. Clearly someone here to spend Daddy’s money, Gabrielle thought disdainfully. He had two girls clinging on his arm thought—a bleach blonde in a green dress who was seemingly giggling at everything he said, and an African American girl in a navy blue dress who seemed almost more interested in watching the bouncers than her “friend.”
The guy flashed her what she was sure he thought was a winning smile. “Hey beautiful, I’m Ryan, and my friends here are Lexi and Justine.” he said, gesturing to his “companions.” “How about you bring me a couple of bottles of bourbon...and come join us?”
Gabrielle suppressed a sigh. No matter where she worked, she always had to deal with guys constantly hitting on her. She knew the cocktail dress she wore fit her like a glove, but would it really be too much to ask for one night off from the drunk guys looking to get lucky?
“Okay, so bourbon...and we’ll see” she replied, faking a smile as she made her way to the bar. Tara tossed her a sympathetic smile as she poured out the drinks and gave them to her to take to the table. She knew exactly what her friend was going through.
Walking back to the table, she saw that polo shirt—Ryan, that was it—had somehow gotten his hands on some old timey antic camera and was messing around with it. The idiot hadn’t even noticed his thumb was over the lense. Huh, that was—

Gabe continued carrying the tray full of shots back to his friends. Becky cheerfully waved at him. “Shots time!” She said cheerfully as he slid into the booth next to her and Lexi. “Where’s Justine?” He asked. “Oh, she’s over there, chatting with that hunky bouncer.” Lexi said with a laugh. Glancing over, Gabe saw Justine chatting with the burly guy standing by the door. The African American girl paused to play with a strand of her curly hair before continuing her conversation with the guy, who certainly seemed interested from what Gabe could tell.
He turned to his friends, casting a dubious eye at the antique camera sitting on the table. “Does that thing really still work?”
“Of course!” Becky chirped. “Here, I’ll show you.....”
