“Your room is nice, Pete,” Quincy said as they were dressing down, “A little barren, but cozy. Quincy’s room back home is nice too. Maybe Quincy can take you there if everything’s okay.”
Pete looked at the strange girl. He didn’t have the heart to tell her that things probably weren’t going to be okay. After what happened that day, how could he? He knew the foundation could do terrible things to their minds, possibly make them disappear forever. Quincy didn’t deserve that. She had to be one of the most innocent creatures in he’d ever met. So instead, he smiled.
“I‘d like that,” he answered. It was a truthful statement at least. For now he stripped down and looked at his naked body. Sure enough, he was a girl. Where there should have been a penis was a soft slit. Two soft humps of flesh hung from his chest. He was a girl in body only. With a weary sigh, he pulled on his plain pajamas and sat down on the bed.
Quincy didn’t wear pajamas. She liked to sleep naked. In fact, being Quim born, she was much more comfortable naked. It’s not that she had no shame, it’s really just that she didn’t understand the issue. Pete was able to get a good look at her silky tan skin, and her smooth and hairless crotch. Her peach looked as plush as her lips, and just like her saliva gave off a pleasant lavender scent. He thought back to when he kissed her. Her mouth tasted like honey. He wondered if he would ever get to taste it again.
“Hey Quincy,” Pete decided to start some conversation, “What can you tell me about Quims? I want to learn more about you.”
“Hmm, let’s see,” Quincy pondered, “All Quims are girls, and we share a lot of the same DNA with humans. Quims look like chubby women with huge boobs, like water balloons as big as beanbag chairs. Their butts are the same size too, probably even bigger, and they inchworm around in herds of at least ten. Quims don’t have any eyes or noses, and their lips are big enough to cover their whole face. Their mouths don’t have any teeth, and they can pretty much live on only a little bit of food and water.”
“So, they’re… hold on,” Pete interjected, “You’re telling me that Quims are human woman looking things with no arms, no legs, no eyes… how have they not died out? Based on what I know about nature, they should all be extinct!”
“Here’s the thing,” Quincy continued, “they breed with human men to reproduce. They also have no natural predators, so they’re really only good for breeding. Quims give birth after 5 months of pregnancy, and fully mature in as little as one year. Some people think that Quims used to be humans who were cursed into creatures that were nothing more than fuck meat.”
“How true is that?” Pete asked.
“Probably really true, but Miss Teacher says there’s still a lot more to learn about their history,” Quincy explained, “Quims don’t know where they come from, and they’re okay with that. Rather, we’re okay with that. Quims need nothing more than some sunshine on our skin, the occasional cock to drain, and a little company. Quims really like company, especially sexy company.”
“So… how do you like being a human?” Pete asked next.
“Quincy loooves being a human!” The girl exclaimed, “Quincy can talk and walk and see things! Do you have any idea what it means for something born blind to suddenly be given sight? It’s a miracle! An honest truthful miracle! Quincy can taste and smell and do all kinds of stuff! Sometimes Quincy wonders why other humans aren’t as stoked to have five senses as this! Although, part of Quincy misses being just a Quim with simple pleasures and not a whole lot to think about. Quincy would never trade being human for anything though, not even for the world!” Quincy seemed to really enjoy just the experience of being human. Pete wondered if perhaps everyone else took it for granted?
“Hey Pete, can Quincy ask you something?”
“Uhh, sure? What is it?”
“If… if Quincy said she wanted you to give her a baby one day… would you say yes?”
——///——
“As if it was even a question, Dr Steinberg! Of course we want you to continue with the experiment!”
“A-are you serious, sir?” Claudia gasped. Here she was at the on-site bunker, ready to argue her cause. She was certainly surprised to learn that her 2 wouldn’t need too much convincing.
“Seriously serious,” the 2 confirmed. This was William Roderick Fitzpatrick, one of the oldest heads of the foundation. He’d been monitoring the fair for years, and in fact it was something of a pet project to him. The stunt that Quim girl pulled that afternoon reeled in a lot of valuable data, not just for the Lovely Wheel, but for something else. “Doctor, I have a question for you. Do you believe in Entity Number One?”
“I’m sorry sir, what?”
“Do you know what our code name for Entity Number One is?”
“True Love, right?”
“Correct,” Fitzpatrick nodded, “I’ll ask again. Do you believe in True Love?”
