As Geoff the mailman drove around, still doing his job, and also, still puzzled by the sudden flash at Mr Todd's house, he suddenly felt a tingle in his toes, and he felt himself shrink a small bit in size.
a very small unnoticeable bit.
nevertheless, he still carried on with his job, until he'd finished with his deliveries.
Once his shift was over, he headed for his home. he found that strangely, He couldn't see over the steering wheel as much.
But it doesn't seem to stop him from driving.
Once he arrived, he got into his house [though whilst struggling to reach the door handle] and changed out of his baggy mailman uniform, and put on a white shirt with a grey sweater vest, blue casual slacks, and plaid slippers.
Strangely, even those clothes were baggier than his uniform.
He heaved himself onto his sofa, shedding his slippers and baggy black socks in the process, lifted his feet up, and wriggled his smallish-looking toes.
His jaw dropped upon seeing his feet shrink. His shoe size was 12, but now, they seemed to be size 5.
"Oh god." he muttered. "I think I need a break. I must be hallucinatin'."
Without a second thought, he called up the mail office, and told them he was gonna spend a couple days off, due to a sudden dizziness spell.
No sooner had he put his phone down, he felt himself getting smaller. He shrunk like a deflated balloon! Upon getting off the sofa, his slacks, closely followed by his underpants, dropped down. and almost a while later, his shirt and sweater vest became far too huge to wear, and he ended up having to crawl out of the collar, naked as the day he was born.
He had shrunk down to doll size.
