Entity #192502
Codename: Swell-Ya Bees
Physical Description: Atypical humanoid insects related to the Apidae family. This Entity is composed of three main body parts: a head, thorax, and a spherical abdomen. The abdomen is of particular note, as it’s the size of an American quarter. The abdomen is tipped with a barbed, needle-like stinger. They poses six limbs, four arms and two legs, attached to the thorax. The head has a pair of antennae, two segmented eyes, and a humanoid mouth.
They follow typical bee social structures, with a Queen as the leader of a hive. The Queen’s abdomen is double the size of her workers. Drones lack a stinger and are only good for impregnating other queens.
They come in two varieties: yellow and purple stripes, or green and purple stripes.
Known Abilities: Most typical bee behaviors and abilities, including the construction of wax hives, and honey production. It’s currently unknown whether the honey has transformative properties.
At the end of the abdomen is a barbed stinger, which has one of two different venoms depending on the variety of Entity. Both venoms cause massive amounts of swelling to the human body, to the point of incapacitation. Yellow and purple venom causes the victim to swell into a spherical balloon and float roughly 1250 feet into the air. Green and purple venom induces rapid weight gain, rendering the victim an immobile blob of fat. Shortly after stinging, the bee will regrow a new stinger.
Reports indicate that victims experience mass amounts of discomfort during the initial swelling, but suddenly fall in love with their immense size once they finish. It’s quite like a switch being flipped in the victim’s head.
Update: Entity is capable of verbal communication! Only the Queens so far are capable of speaking human languages, while the workers and drones only speak their own language. By interrogating the Queens we have in captivity we hope to learn more about this species, which refer to themselves as “Swell-Ya Bees.”
Update: Honey discovered to have similar transformation properties to stingers. Effects shown to be mild compared to stinging.
Containment: Entity #192502 is housed in an underground beekeeping facility on-site. Employees are required to wear designated PPE while handling 192502 to prevent getting stung. Should one be stung by 192502, quickly inject the anti-venom into the victim to reverse the swelling. Any 192502 found in the wild is to be quickly captured and delivered to the facility for containment.
Update: In the event of a security breach, you are authorized to use specially trained Entities as a weapon.
