Rachel picks up the small white pawn chess piece from the package and inspects it. Seeing it as just average pawn piece, Rachel gives a slight shrug and decides to put it in her right apron's pocket. Rachel turns around and is about to walk over to her full-length mirror when she suddenly sees a set up chessboard on the floor in the mirror's reflection. Rachel turn her head to see the package sitting where the chessboard was, then looks back to see the chessboard still there. Rachel walks over to the mirror to find out what was going on, only to discover that her own reflection was now much smaller than her current height. From what she could tell, Rachel reflection was about the size of a 8 year old. Rachel then came to a revelation.
"No it can't be. Could it actually be possible." Rachel said as she lifts her a arm and points her finger near the mirror's surface. When she moves her finger closer, the whole thing passes through the mirror as if there was nothing there. Rachel pulls her hand back in shock and looks down at her finger to see it was still the same. Rachel looks back at the mirror and realizes she was now in the same position as Alice was in the second book: Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There. Rachel then thinks of her options and decides to go for it.
"I can't believe I'm really doing this. Alright, here I go." Rachel said as she lifts her right leg up and into the mirror, then proceeded the rest of the way through until she was completely inside. Rachel look around in astonishment as she was actually inside a mirror with everthing within in the opposite position of where they were suppose to be and a lot bigger than usual. Rachel turns around and finds her reflection now towering over her. This confirms that Rachel was now much smaller than when she entered the mirror and that she was now the size of a little girl, possibly Alice herself. Rachel smiled as thought of all the possibilities that lay before her.
"Oh this is gonna be fun."
