Miles hid a smile from his mom as he bent over and placed the cookie tray in the oven and set the temperature to 350 degrees. Something about this felt really good. Maybe it was the novelty of doing something innocent and wholesome that he hadn't done since he was a kid, but deep down, so deep that he even denied it to himself, Miles was still his mother's son. He secretly wished from time to time that he could become a little kid again and just sit at his mother's feet in his pajamas as she told him cute stories about talking animals. On the other hand, the choices he has made recently, the friends he has made...they all seemed to be pulling him farther and farther away from that option. By this point in his life, Miles was already well acquainted with using alcohol and drugs, had already had his heart broken by a girl, and he already had a criminal record from engaging in petty vandalism and theft. Molly at her angriest had called him a little hellion and wished that Miles had never been born. Hearing that comment hurt Miles more deeply than either expected. Maybe this little baking adventure was his mother's way of making up for it.
Nevertheless, Molly and Miles stood in the kitchen and had a nice chat as they waited for the cookies to be done.
“So what do you want to do after this?” asked Molly. “I thought that we could play some board games. Or maybe we could watch a movie.”
Miles continued to play with his longer hair without realizing it.
“Either one sounds fun. Why are you being so nice today?”
“Lets just say that I feel like this is going to be the last time I'll ever see you” said Molly cryptically. “I mean...you're growing up so fast. In two years you're going to be out of the house, and you'll probably never want to see me again. Christmas and Thanksgiving if I'm lucky” giggled Molly uncomfortably.
“That's not true, Mom. When I move out, I'll still you as often as I can. I promise.”
Molly smiled.
“I appreciate that Miles.”
Miles felt like a hug was coming on, so they hugged. As they did, the egg timer went off. Miles grabbed some potholders and took the cookies out of the oven.
“They smell good!” announced Miles proudly, absorbing the chocolate aroma from the freshly baked confectioneries.
“They look good too. You're quite the little homemaker, Miles” teased Molly.
“Mom!” yelled Miles, not even mad.
They waited a couple of minutes for the cookies to cool down, and then Miles grabbed a plate and some tongs, and placed the cookies on it. They both walked into the living room and set the cookies on the coffee table.
“Ladies first” said Miles, pushing the plate Molly's way. For some reason, he really wanted to know what she thought of them.
“No...no. You first!” laughed Molly as she pushed the plate back in her son's direction.
“If you insist!” said Miles, grabbing the first cookie, which was actually pretty big. He opened his mouth and began chewing on it.
“Mmmm!” he said in approval, the melted chocolate chips tasting like a party in his mouth. “These are great! I got to have another!”
As Miles dug in, Molly was excited to see how rapidly the next stage of her spell was going. She could see through Miles's shirt that he was already gaining a little tummy and some manboobs, and if she said so herself, the fat seemed to be distributing itself in a rather feminine way.
His face was also changing. Miles already was forming a thick double chin and an overall rounder look to him, but Molly noticed something else. His skin was becoming softer, clearer, and more alabaster in color.
Yep, Miles was well on his way...
Option 1: After eating their cookies, Miles and Molly decide to play their favorite board game together: Life. As they play, Miles starts to really get into the idea of having a family and a spouse. Meanwhile, his clothing starts changing.
Option 2: After their cookie break, Miles and Molly watch a movie together: Pretty In Pink. As they watch, Miles starts to identify more and more with Molly Ringwald's character, and he gains a curvier, plus size body.
