When Evan woke up the next morning, he remembered it was Halloween. He laid in bed, prepping himself for the day. He got up to go to the bathroom and walked by his mirror. He stopped cold, starring at the reflection before him. It couldn't be him, he thought. This reflection had facial hair. Evan knew he could grow some facial hair, but not this fast. Never this fast. He had stubble. It would have taken him days to get to this point, and even then, it would never have been this full. The beard growth formula had worked. Evan felt amazing. He looked closing at his face, running his hands through his new facial hair. "I can beat Dylan now," he thought. He left his reflection behind, not noticing the fuzz that had started growing on his chest.
Evan went about his day. Nobody seemed to say anything about his sudden facial hair growth. He was an 18 year old guy after all. They probably just thought it was normal.
That night before bed, Evan texted Dylan. "Remember to shave tonight. It has to be a fair competition." Dylan responded with a thumbs up. Now that the playing field was more fair, Evan shaved his own stubble. By the time he finished, his face had already started to grow the hair again. Given his new, advanced hair growth, Evan decided to not take any more of the formula. His facial hair growth couldn't be too sudden or drastic or Dylan would question it. If Dylan's growth was more than he expected, then he would drink more of the formula. He figured Dylan would have a decent amount of scruff by the time school started tomorrow morning, and Evan would have the same.
