Dan went into his room to relax. What Kat said bothered him, but he didn’t completely believe it. He forgot about it at first, but he was reminded of it every once in a while.
“Pfft… an animal. Yeah right,” Dan spoke out loud and laughed.
He didn’t feel any more animalistic. In fact, thirty minutes later, he just felt… empty.
Kat opened up Dan’s door suddenly and said, “Dan, I think I messed up the spell. You will become your inner self, I just don’t think it’s restricted to just animals now. In fact, I think this is even better, so much more possibilities!” Kat shouted.
“Whatever, you aren’t making any sense,” Dan responded.
“Well, we got nine hours until the party! I got plenty of time to kill. I may just show up at school and see how everyone is treating you. Say, don’t you start the day by walking to school with your friends. Who were they again? Lilly, Kyle, Max and Holly? How will they react?”
A doorbell rang. “And here they are.”
Dan walked up to the door and left to go to school with them.
