“I’m done” Tom called out in Kerry’s voice. She moved to the bedroom. There she found Kate was showing Kerry her options for tonight. “This is Tom’s wedding suit. It’s my favourite of his suits”
“I’m not sure I fit in that anymore” said Tom “Kate’s cooking has made me put on weight in the last 18 months”
“Excuse me. I’m not to blame. Until we married you played sport and stayed trim. I never made you give that up. That was your own doing. You’re the one who has let your body go”
"Well Tom I see your change has finished. We are twins" said Kerry, who didn't want to be caught in the middle of a domestic. “We need to get you dressed. Do you want help?”
Tom saw the leather skirt and the other clothes Kerry had been wearing laid out on the bed. He couldn’t help but notice the lacy lingerie. “I think so. Don't you need to start changing though?”
“She’s in no hurry” said Kate. “Our taxi isn’t coming until 6.30. We have plenty of time but you need to hurry and get back to Michael. You will need to leave in no more than 20 minutes.
The other two women immediately began to help Tom get dressed. She didn't resist. If she wanted to got to the footy she needed to put on Kerry's clothes. She was in too deep to pull out now.
Tom could put the panties on himself but Kate helped him with the bra while Kerry showed him how to put the pantyhose on without putting a ladder in them.
Kerry suggested Tom should visit the loo before getting into the leather skirt. She did so.
Soon enough on went the slip, the top and the leather skirt. Kerry then applied scent, gave Tom her rings and put the hoop earrings in Tom’s now pierced ears. She reminded Tom “Remember Michael doesn’t know about the swap. Avoid telling him if you can”
“I don’t want him to know either but no doubt he will pick up something about me as odd before the end of the night”
Kate suggested “If you have a few drinks he might think anything odd you do is due to alcohol”
“Actually, thinking about it, it was virtually impossible to tell that Kerry wasn’t you last Saturday. I think you get the mannerisms of the person when you get their body”
“Ha! As you told us that you were using your hands just like Kerry would”
“What are you saying I flourish my hands when I talk?” Kerry asked.
In unison Tom and Kate replied “You sure do”
Kerry gave Tom’s hair one last brush then Kate presented her with her pearl necklace. “Borrowing this was Kerry’s excuse to come over. Be careful with them. They are special to me. I want them back” She helped clasp them around Tom’s neck.
Tom looked in the mirror to see an immaculately groomed Kerry wearing the anniversary gift Tom had bought Kate.
Kerry passed her handbag to Tom. My phone is in there. It's now yours for the night. It opens with your fingerprint. I'll keep yours with me. We can communicate by text" She then showed Tom how to wear the handbag “You need to get going. Enjoy the game”
Kate walked Tom out to Kerry’s car. Kerry as Tom’s twin, only in a dressing gown, did not want to be seen by any neighbours. Tom had no trouble walking in the heels but did notice he had to take shorter steps as the skirt lacked a slit. She sat in the driver’s seat and realised nothing need adjusting, then hitched up her skirt as Kerry had suggested, put the seat-belt on, observing the way it sat between her breasts and pushed the ignition button. Kate’s parting words were “Enjoy yourself. I hope they win”
