Nellie took hir leave of Wendy and headed towards the gym, stopping at hir locker to pick up hir gym bag. On hir way there, one or two girls s/he didn't know greeted hir like s/he was a friend. By this point, s/he was unsurprised to find hirself responding in kind.
Nellie entered the girl's locker room. A couple of the girls that were in there already looked up as s/he came in, and the nearest one nodded to hir. Nellie couldn't help but reflect on the irony of it all. How many boys - including the one s/he had been quite recently - would have salivated at the chance to wander unchallenged where s/he was right now? Here s/he was in the "Holy of Holies" and all of the half-naked girls aroused no interest in hir. Instead hir own reflection in a mirror on the wall caught hir attention. Hir head had changed completely - nothing of hir old face remained. Instead, the face s/he saw in the mirror was identical to that of the Nellie s/he had been in hir dream. Hir body had changed more than s/he had realized. It was smaller, more curvy, still quite fit but a good deal less muscular.
S/he began to change into hir gym clothes. Hir chest, though still quite flat, was now quite hairless. S/he found hirself putting on a sports bra, even though s/he had nothing to fill it. Yet. As s/he changed into hir shorts, s/he noticed that hir genitalia were as yet still fully male. It still was so weird to hir how none of the girls around hir seemed to notice this.
Once fully dressed, s/he went outside with the other girls. The girls' coach, Ms. Burkhalter, had them running laps around the track today, as she always did when she was feeling lazy.
As s/he ran around the track, Nellie lost hirself in thought.S/he started to think how cute Bill was. They'd always been friends, but s/he was starting to think that s/he wouldn't mind being more than friends with him. That thought - that s/he was thinking about Bill, of all people - brought hir out of hir reverie, upon which s/he noticed an odd sensation in hir chest. Even as s/he ran, two bumps appeared on hir upper torso. S/he was growing breasts! Well, she wasn't all that surprised at this point. Still, s/he watched with fascination as they grew, filling out the sports bra until s/he had what might be called a respectable rack. S/he marveled at the new sensation of them bouncing ever so slightly on hir chest.
After class, s/he went in to shower. When s/he was naked, s/he checked hirself. Except for what hung between hir legs, she was - physically at least - completely female. when s/he was showered, and dressed again, s/he checked hirself out in the mirror. S/he had to say, s/he was impressed. If s/he was turning into a girl, at least it was a pretty hot girl!
