Dean thinks for a while, “I always wanted a dog,” he says after a while.
Jeff nods, “yeah, I remember that you mentioned that a few times,” he says, “I also noticed you looking sad every time you see someone with a dog”.
The other teen nods, “I wish my parents would allow me to adopt a puppy,” he says.
“Why a puppy,” Jeff asks, “why not get a dog who is already trained?”
“Because, if I'd get a pup, I'd train him,” Dean says, “I'd know the dog, how he reacts. With a older dog, I feel unsure since I don't know how he'd react”.
Jeff nods as he understands Dean's point, “makes sense,” he says, “okay, I'll become your puppy. What kind of breed do you want me to become,” he then asks.
