As he left the shack in which he fell asleep she saw madame working on the other participants. They were receiving their back hooves today. He said while looking at his back legs and pawing the mud under his hoofs with one of his back legs. Once madame was finished she came up to him and said.
Very well! you are up. Now we can get to your training.
As she said this madame told him that he will have to plow a piece of land with a horse drawn plow. Afterwards he will have to learn how to trot without stumbling. And only then madame will have confidence in his abilities and reflexes as a horse to let him draw a carriege.
After she explained this she strapped him to a plow with some straps that went around his back and forelegs.
At first he struggled to pull it. He even lifted his front legs a bit off the ground to try to get more traction.
At this point madame said: Down!
You have 4 legs now stop trying to think on 2.
As she said this he dropped down and looked at her confused and tired.
Your purpose in this life from now on is to pull loads. You might as well do it correctly.
Keep your forelegs on the ground and push with your back legs in a downward motion as to not push yourself up.
As soon as he tried to pull with all of his 4 legs he was rewarded with the best feeling ever as the plow started moving.
He couldn't believe how many tricks there were to his new body. At this point madame said.
I could have made you more powerful, however what would be the point, in letting you use only 2 legs to pull. Now you're just strong enough to pull what you need with all four legs. I'm sure enough that the concept of hands will slowly disappear, in time, from your mind due to this.
He powered on through the process using all of his muscles to aid him in pulling and at some point he finished that piece of land and he was unstrapped from the plow. Receiving a pat on his back by madame and being left at the entrance of the field.
As soon as he took a step forward he felt something cold. Unbeknownst to him he had been pulling that plow in mud that barely reached the top of his hooves therefore not feeling anything all through the day. However as soon as the water got over his hooves, he felt it prompting him to smile as he had got used to only vague feelings of pressure from the ground he walked.
He made his way to the barracks making splashing sounds in the mud and leaving hoof imprints from the field to the barracks.
When he entered he found a slew of participants with horse legs and hooves at the end of them sitting on the couch and watching him enter the barrack down on all fours.
