"Goddess, I'm such a slut" Katerina thought, as she deep kissed Jane Johnston, a senior agent of Jamaica's Department of Obeah who was in Moscow consulting on a particularly stubborn case of a demonic entity possessing an old Soviet war memorial. "Oh well, was monogamous for over three years, new personal record."

"God, am I a slut?" Maria thought. Since she had left her old church, an increasingly fanatical group denouncing the outside world that seemed to be becoming a cult, she had found the most comfort in the Church of the New Dispensation, an offshoot of Anglicanism. The CND proclaimed that the Great Change had been God's will and should be accepted rather than rejected. Very cautiously, Maria dipped her toe in the waters of accepting her new (not really that new anymore) urges. She had gone out for coffee several times with another woman in a realistically aged body (although the new, hot bodies people had got with the change were now perceptibly aging) named Miriam Gibson, but tonight they were having dinner. It was inescapably, a date.

"Allah" thought Aziza with exasperated affection, "That crazy slut!" The exorcism of the Glendale demon had involved the demon's temporary possession of Kylie. Only Kylie's love of Aziza had enabled her to throw off the demon's temptations to bring back the old Kylie, the evil sorceress. The demon, wounded by Kylie's rejection, had then been locked away by Aziza, but it had been a very close thing, and had permanently restored a lot of Kylie's memories. And part of Kylie's memories were of suburban American Christmases. Aziza had had to gently explain that even though Saudi Arabia had greatly liberalized since the Great Change, a Christmas Tree was a really bad idea. Aziza's hints that Kylie's conversion to Islam would make things a lot easier for everyone were falling on deaf ears. Fortunately, the sexual relationship was still great.
"Merry Christmas, babe!" said Kylie. She handed Aziza a wrapped present.

That goddamned slut, thought Elizabeth. She was feeling very little affection for her wife at the moment.
