Seeing the group as mostly useless in their state right now, you don’t see how they could possibly help you, so opt to get them to safety and abandon them. You travel to a land mostly unaffected by demons and find the tree they are looking for. You bow to them out of respect and leave, most of them confused as to why you were leaving them. After a good twenty minutes of slashing through enemies and leveling up, you finally reach the area where you can seal the demons. What you didn’t expect was the need for 5 other people to perform the sealing ritual. You know it’s going to drain you of a majority of your power, but seeing no other option, you split into 6 clones and stand in the appropriate spots as you perform the sealing ritual. All the while, hordes upon hordes of demons try to interrupt you, which causes you to waste more energy fending them off. It takes a good hour for you to finally seal them away, but you are completely spent. Both your energy and your strength are gone as you now have nothing left to fight this boss with as the rest of the demons combine together to form some sort of super arch-demon with 6 wings and 4 horns like something out of a horror film. You can’t even dodge one attack before you are immediately zapped.
