When Dan came home, his mother was doing magic with the decorations, Kat was washing the dishes and he didn't see his father.Dan was about to go to his room when Kat stopped him. "Where are you going Dan, you have to explain to me why you weren't at your party," she said in a sinister voice and stood in front of Dan to stop him.
"I don't have to explain anything to you, it's not even my birthday today, you made me a girl and rejuvenated me to have my birthday on the same day, which I don't understand why you did that, but I don't care, you're a monster who thinks she's something more because she's a witch. Dan said to his sister in an ominous voice, then pushed Kat aside and went further into his room. Before he could take the first step, Dan's mother stopped her. Dan nodded in dismay and stormed off to his room, tears flowing steadily as he did so.Kat was shocked her mother would never hit her child and never again so hard Kat saw Dan approaching her with teary eyes "Dan" she said and put her hand on his shoulder and he looked at her and without a word went to his room."Mom, are you okay?" Kat asked cautiously.
After a moment, Dan's mother realized what she had done.
"What did I do, I hit my little girl and I didn't take into account that she was scared or angry," she said softly, still in shock. kat hugged her mom and then said, "don't worry, that's just fear talking," she said, still trying to calm her mom down. "I hope Dani forgives me," Kat's mom whispered to herself.
