Abar is a great and ancient kingdom with a colorful history of heroes, villains, kings, queens, warriors, mages and monsters. The kingdom is also home to hundreds of secrets, left there over the centuries by all manner of powerful individuals.
One of the more ancient ones is the Pond of Potential. A small, clear spring, hidden deep within the Evergreen Woods, few have ever laid eyes on it and it's widely considered a myth: A magical spring from times immemoriam. It is told that drinking from the spring or bathing in its waters has the ability to awaken the true potential of an individual, granting them power, wisdom, or even transforming them in wondrous ways.
Many have went on to search for the spring, eager to become their truest selves. But none have succeeded, for the path to the pond shall only open itself to those not yearning for it, to those who actually need its power.
And right now, one of those individuals is getting close to the mythical pond.
