However, what Mandy didn’t know was that the app DID have the power to change something. By changing the sentence, Mandy would unknowingly change the lives of her, Ty, the customers shopping and Jason who was now in the store looking for his phone.
Mandy tapped away quickly, changing "Shoe" to read "Makeup" instead. She always would've preferred to sell something that she had more of an interest in, so this was a fun little change for her. As she hit enter, Mandy was unaware of just how powerful her little fun change would be as she hit enter.

Jenna blinked rapidly, feeling a bit of confusion alongside a little headache. She caught herself from falling on a smaller stand containing various varieties of lipstick.
"Ugh, bloody hell." She muttered before standing back up.
"Oh my, are you alright dear?" A voice arose from behind her.
Jenna turned to face a pretty young woman staring at her. She had deep black braided hair, cute dimples to aid her big smile, was short but was still rather curvy, and wore the pink shirt and name-tag associated with the store. She gave a concerned smile and placed a hand on Jenna's arm, causing Jenna to blush a little.
"You looked like you were just about to drop there." She added.
"O-oh yeah I'm good ha just a bit dizzy." Jenna rushed. "Thank you... Tanya."
Tanya smiled at Jenna, then turned as she heard someone coming up behind her. Another black woman with a curly afro approached, placing her hand on Tanya. "Is everything alright sis?" She asked.
"Yes Mandy this young woman just had a dizzy spell." Tanya explained to her sister.
"Uh yeah, I just came in looking for my phone." Jenna awkwardly chuckled, pulling on her brunette ponytail. "Sorry it must've fell out of my purse at some point."
"Oh, is this it?" Mandy asked, handing Jenna the phone she had found.
"Yes! Yes that's it!" Jenna gasped, relieved to have found it before any changes to reality could happen. "That could have been bad." She muttered, giving a quick chuckle while brushing her hair from her eyes.
"Glad I found you. I almost typed something into this app you had up out of curiosity. Sorry about that." Mandy giggled.
Jenna's heart sunk upon hearing that. Not only did this woman find the app, but also had it open... would she even be aware if she changed something? Could Jenna still notice? She glanced around, darting her eyes at a million miles an hour trying to spot anything that looked out of place.
Just leaving the register was some brown haired boy, probably close to Jenna's age of 15. He had earrings and makeup on, so she figured he was gay as he happily swayed while he strut towards the exit. In line, a blonde woman looking impatient stepped up to the line, holding tightly to her cute little toddler who was trying to eat his mother's purse. The woman was glancing at Jenna, clearly hoping one of the workers would leave and go serve her. At the same time, she spotted an older middle aged man walk in, seemingly lost, likely looking for a gift for someone close to him.
The store also seemed the same. The hot pink and white walls, the rows of different varieties of makeup, she even remembered the two cute black women who ran the store from before. She specifically remembered because she was hoping that meant they were a couple, but she previously found out they were siblings. Jenna had only recently realized she was queer, so was always looking out for people she could safely talk about it with... partially why she kept a mental note about the teen boy who was leaving.
Regardless, nothing seemed amiss. But could Jenna be sure? Was there a way to find out?
"Um, miss, are you alright?" Tanya asked Jenna, seemingly concerned.
"Oh, uh, yes. Yes I'm fine it's just... could you maybe tell me what it said when you saw my app before?" She asked, hoping it was just the loading screen or something similar.
"Don't worry hun." Mandy smiled. "It was just a map of the mall, and I tapped on something that looked similar to our shop, and it said something like this place serves makeup or something. Pretty cool how it knew that though. Is it a mapping app? Are you developing it?" Mandy asked.
Jenna didn't know how to feel. From what Mandy said, something could've changed or nothing could've changed. She quickly decided the safest bet was to change it back to the initial change. It was a budget conscious accessories shop, then it was definitely a makeup store that Jenna had been too.... probably. The more she thought about it all the less comfortable she felt.
"Okay okay calm down Jenna." She sighed while thinking. "Just fix the store to the original, and I'm sure it'll all feel fine and be fine." She thought to herself.
Mandy and Tanya were now very concerned for the poor girl who seemed to be acting strangely. Mandy was wondering if she had accidentally done something with the app. She was pretty sure she did nothing, but strangely, the more she thought about it the more something felt off. She looked at her sister, Tanya, and something definitely felt off about her... but what?
Jenna loaded a sentence, which read: "This high end shop sells makeup."
Jenna sighed, deciding this would probably work. She then went to change a sentence, unaware that her proximity in the store would transform her life and body as well. The question is, what word does she change, and what happens to the store and all inside?
