Casseus and the Boss now made their way towards the lobby. After watching the footage of Choon Hee and her encounter with the kitsune, they were anxious to talk with the kumiho. Already they could see the anthro fox had drawn quite a crowd, including Evan Harris.
"Choon Hee," the Boss asked.
The brown anthro fox frowned, throwing her hands up as she now made her way towards the Boss. "Can someone tell me how the hell they can summon ghosts?!"
"You failed to kill the celestial kits," the Boss stated.
"It was six on one," Choon Hee stated. "Seven if you want to include the ghost of a kitsune we killed almost 600 years ago! Can ANYONE explain that?"
"Catalysts can be tricky," Evan said calmly. "You'd be amazed at the things they can do. Still, thats a new one."
Choon Hee sighed, the kumiho now revealing a satchel she had on her back. "Look know you wanted the kits dead," she stated. "But, I was able to get this." The kumiho now dumped the contents of the satchel out, numerous pieces of the Soul Drive now spilling out in the floor.
"Is that a Soul Drive," Casseus asked.
"Well whats left of it," Choon Hee shrugged. "I tried to keep as much of it intact as possible." The Boss now picked up a shredded piece of metal, casting the kumiho a dubious look. "I did say try," Choon Hee said quickly. "But hey its better than nothing am I right?"
The Boss was silent for a moment before slowly approaching the kumiho. "Great work Choon Hee," he said happily. "This is actually really helpful in our Soul Drive project. Casseus, can you get this to our tech guys?"
Casseus nodded, motioning towards a group of Normal scientists who now began to pick up the pieces of the Soul Drive Choon Hee had brought.
"Well," the Boss began. "You may not have taken out the kits but the Soul Drive parts are certainly a success. I think this is worth a reward."
Chonn Hee tilted her head as the Boss now gestured towards a door. "Special forces team tried to take me out earlier today," he said non chalantly. "Anyway we managed to keep four of them alive. You hungry?"
"Famished," Choon Hee grinned, the kumiho now opening the door before entering. Within seconds all that could be heard was the guttarl cries of men dying.
"Well now," the Boss stated. "I think that was a good test run of the kumiho. What do you think?
"That creature is certainly brutal in her methods," Casseus replied. "And quite skilled to be able to hold her own in a battle against wizards and kitsunes."
"Still its only a matter of time before the Catalyst figures out how to deal with this latest threat," Evan added.
"Dont worry," the Boss stated confidently. "Plans are in the works to handle the Catalyst "
