Roughly five years later, Elise was wiping her old computer. She was going to donate it, as she'd bought a new one. Even though the organization had promised to wipe it before giving it to someone, they'd told her to remove and delete all her files first, just in case.
She started removing old files and programs, one by one, till she got to one marked Chronovac Beta. She frowned. Must be some sort of video game her ex-boyfriend had been playing. She clicked uninstall. A message popped up. "Warning: Uninstalling this program will result in reversal of last request. Approve, Deny."
She clicked approve. The results of this would make humans walk bipedal and have thumbs, while also wearing clothes and being able to speak. Dogs would lose their ability to speak and make rational decisions. They'd have their skeletons alter so they would only be capable of walking on all fours, while being completely naked.
However, five years later, the world had moved on from where it had been. The original owner of the Chronovac, Jeff, had been a 16 year old boy...which had turned into a less than two year old pet. Aging five years, then returning to his original lifespan would make him a middle aged man.
It wasn't just him...in five years, much of the world's human population had been born.
