Looking at the charm Brooke says “I’d like you to be my pet. You will become a bird. A nice African grey parrot. I’ve wanted a bird. You will be a young bird. You will be a girl bird. You will keep your mind intact”.
This seemed weird to you. You looked at yourself, you were still human. The main thing was that you were now looking up at her. It appeared as though nothing changed otherwise.
In a logical way you know you were different though. Brooke leaned down and picked you up. You thought that should normally not be possible. Once you were picked up you noticed the change.
Looking at yourself now, you had Grey feathers and a beak, but you could still think clearly. You tried to speak but all that came out was a sqwuak. It seemed you’d need to learn to speak again.
Brooke seemed to carry you out of the store. You weren’t sure where too though. Soon you arrived at the pet store. Brooke began ordering mice, a cage, and other supplies for a young parrot.
It soon dawned on you that she planned to keep you like this long term.
