Spark had opted to stay home instead of going with Caleb to school for a few days. She had been observing herself in the mirror from time to time as she was still beginning to look younger to match Connor's age, but also had been looking over pictures of Connor as well. Her mind went back to that night she and Connor turned themselves into adults and shared a passionate kiss.
"Spark? Are you okay?" Nina Moreland asked as she heard Spark give a loving sigh.
"Just....thinking about....a boy." Spark teasingly said.
"Spark, I know you've got feelings for my youngest, but are you sure that you're really in love with Connor?" Nina asked.
"I'm pretty positive, I've been getting younger in appearance recently and really been thinking about...oh...that night at the dance. You're son can be such a gentleman...." Spark said thinking about Connor.
"Well....god, I feel like I'm talking to my daughter here. Spark, you know sometimes people change over time. Like, how do you know Connor won't fall in love with another girl before he gets old enough to date you?" Nina asked.
"I don't get you....'Nina' you act like I'm not good enough for your son. Well let me tell you, I've seen Connor train his hardest, he's going to grow up and become a great hunter, a good man, and....a great husband too." Spark told her as she sighed.
"Well still, you should really consider your relationship goals as of now." Nina suggested.
"Don't tell me how to live my life...'Mrs. Moreland', in fact, until you acknowledge that Connor and I are ready for a relationship, I'm going to keep calling you, 'Mrs. Moreland', because you're like one of those old ladies from the fifties who thinks it's not okay for the young people to date." Spark said.
"Spark, come on..."
"Sorry Mrs. Moreland, but maybe you should go back to your neighbor lady friends and get ready for bingo." Spark said as she flew off to her room. Before she went into her room, she gave a kiss to a picture of Connor on the wall.
