Suddenly the door burst open, it was Jeff now apparently a human, wearing a yellow exosuit just like he was as a doll. Just like the doll he had black hair and his face was fairly square jawed, just like an action hero. Behind him a tiny flight-suited blue figure flew in, landing next to Bill on the sink. It was Justin who was the size of an action figure, but looking at him closer one could see he was more real than that. There were no crude joints or painted details.
Justin explained to Bill, "I've found a way to make us more realistic". He offered a hug to Bill, "But first I'll better give you a ride". As Bill got on, the both soared up in the air and landed on the cold tiled ground of the bathroom. "Ready for it?", he asked Bill who replied, "I guess so". Then Justin pressed some buttons on his wrist computer and Bill was engulfed in a beam of blue light.
The changes started at Bill's feet. Gradually the gaps filled up. He started to feel heavier and more solid. Moving his feet he found that they were moving more naturally, looking closely at them he could even see parts of it following the movements of his muscles. As the changed rushed up his abdomen he could feel organs reforming. He felt a bit queasy until the changes reached his head, his face reforming inside his head as suddenly he started to breathe again. The mechanical attachments started to become real and his re-breather started to work, providing him with fresh air. "Wow", he said.
Justin grabbed Bill's left hand, showing him some new settings on the wrist-puter. "See, you can now select part of your body and detach it", Justin explained and demonstrated it. He pressed some buttons on his wrist-puter, then circled around the wrist of his left hand, and pulled it off. The hand seemed rather life-less and the arm has a clean stump. He handed his left hand to Bill, "Hold for a sec", and selected something else on his wrist-puter, circling around the stump again, grabbing the hand of Bill and putting it back.
