Oscar woke up, he still did not feel any different from when he arrived.
"Who knows how long I'll have to wait." He wondered.
He looked at Ethan, his roommate whose transformation had begun during the Orientation.
Once he stopped looking at the future black panther, he saw himself in the mirror. He had not felt any change but the antlers he saw on his head showed him that he had started to transform.
He did not scream as to not wake up his roommate but he was more excited than ever, these antlers were one of the coolest things that ever happened to him. He also went to measure his size and discovered that he grew a bit over an inch, not counting the antlers.
Ethan woke up slowly, he sat on his bed and noticed Oscar's new appendages.
"Bro! That's sick! You have horns!"
"These aren't horns, they're antlers dummy."
They chuckled, both of them knew that Ethan knew that they were not exactly horns and that Oscar did not think what he said. They simply liked to tease each other.
"You should've come to the party yesterday, it was so cool." Ethan said.
"Did you manage to get laid?" Oscar asked.
"Nope. They were too shy for me. Maybe it's because I'm already almost transformed."
They had only known each other for a few days but they were already the best of friends.
"Your eyes!" Said Oscar, "They've changed!"
Ethan's eyes were previously a beautiful green, they were now a bright yellow. And his fur had continued to grow on his back, it looked like only a tail was missing before he would finish his changes, his visible ones at least.
Oscar admired his friend and roommate, his transformation was not as fast. He wanted to cuddle with the feline to feel the fur. Before this, he did not think about the fact he could have a crush on his new roommate, he did not even admit to him that he liked males even when Ethan had showed him that he was gay.
Oscar brushed the idea off and decided to take a shower, he had to think more before he knew if he wanted to admit his feelings to his new friends, he did not want their relationship to become awkward as they would spend at least the next three months together.
In the shower he started to sing, it happened every time, he had no idea why he did that. During his song, his voice became deeper. He also noticed that his muscle grew a bit, he never really had muscle. He was not thin, but his muscles were not obvious. He never tried to have any anyway but when he discovered it, he was pleasantly surprised and started to flex. His antlers grew more too, so did his hard manhood but it did not seem to change shape yet.
When he came out of the shower, he saw that the panther was sewing his favorite plush, he accidently tore it open with his claws. Ethan's major was art and Oscar's was psychology. From what he had learnt, the transformation would also affect their psyche, he wanted to know what it meant but he did not know if he would notice these changes anyway.
"Hey Ethan, we should go to breakfast don't you think?"
"I like what's coming out of your mouth bro, I'm putting clothes on and I'm coming."
Ethan felt weird while getting dressed, it was strange, having fur in between his clothes and his skin.
When they were finally both dressed, they came out of their dorms and went to the cafeteria.
