Ryan rolled the dice and got a 6-3. "Not bad," he said, more to himself than anyone else.
The board display flashed once again. "You have landed in an ancient crystal chapel!"
"That means...?" said Ryan.
"All transformations are neutralized! RYAN must choose between two paths for the cleansed: 1) the path of beasts 2) the path of silence."
Immediately, Dina and Mary crumpled to the ground. The others swivelled around to look and saw that both had returned to normal - however, they were shimmering weirdly.
"What do I choose?" wondered Ryan aloud. "Silence sounds dangerous, knowing how much we have to co-operate..." he tapped the number 1 on the display, prompting a new message.
"RYAN has chosen the path of beasts. DINA, MARY and RYAN follow in the paths of beasts... and how better to do that than in their shoes, so to speak?"
"In hindsight, maybe that wasn't such a good idea," said Ryan as the changes began...
